I have this from Maplin Electronics that displays temp out/in

& time, it also has an electro luminescent

(spelling?) light that comes on with the push of the button.

What I want to do is hook up a power source from my sidelight curcuit that would ultimately

'turn' the EL light on with the sidelights? is this poss with use of resistors etc.

?
I did try taking another one apart but when I put it back together the light will not work, even tho I didn't touch anything inside?

Thanks Mark
