I know an amazing place in London..... only place I will trust with mine now.
They are currently doing an engine swap for me..
Bit far for you I know but if you want somewhere decent its worth it 
Its about a 40 min drive for me, but I'd always go there rather some of the shoddy places round here.
Worth a look if you can get the car there.

EarL might have some recommendations for places in S. Wales, but otherwise for a major job it's probably worth a trip to one of the affiliates on here - at least you'll have some peace of mind from an MR2 specialist doing it and as they should be well practiced it may cost less than getting someone who's having to learn as they go.

Precisely why I'm getting mine done at AutoBMC
I suspect my last garage charged me for working things out.. judging by what they did I'm surprised they knew what an MR2 was!-

How much are they charging for an engine swap? Also what rev engine?
Because thats not to bad a drive from where I am, i'd usually take it to 3S but it's almost double the distance drive for me.
