Post by 2002r1jon »

Hello everyone
Quick question, does anyone know what the ride height of a mk2 should be as standard?(arch to tyre or sill to ground)as im not sure wether mine is lowered or not
It has Bilstien dampers and springs, but doesnt seem to look any lower than other standard mr2s
cheers

ground clearance should be 135mm though can not tell you where that measurement is taken
measure sill to ground and see what you get

if you find its lowered keep that way, if not stock alloys add 1.5 inch spacers to the rear wheels .mines lowered by 40mm and 1.5 spacers on rear non stock alloys by eck it sticks to the road like unwanted snot to your hand trust me :thumleft:
