[Mk2] [Turbo] Washed, cleaned, clayed, polished, sealed, waxed!!*NEW PICS*

Post by thai boxer »

Spent this weekend cleaning and polishing the Tubby. Used a clay bar before polishing to remove all the toxins and crap from the paint and then used Zaino polish (amazing stuff and smells gorgeous!!) :thumleft:

The paint is now as smooth as glass and has a real deep glossy shine to it. :D 8) :thumleft:

Now I've just gota do the WHOLE car AGAIN with some decent wax..... :(

What you guys think?

PS...2nd picture, the mark on the rear arch is actually the reflection from the fence!! 8)

WOW dude!!! That looks awesome!!!

Send me the details of the stuff you used. My paintwork is starting to suffer having to use the car every day, and that looks like it may bring it back to life.

Well done TB. :thumleft:

Cheers guys :thumleft:

Rob, I did have the full front bumper but wanted something different as theres quite afew Veilsides around, so I cut the centre section out and made 'custom' points on each side.

A lot of people on here say they havn't seen a black Veilside..... :thumleft:

Cheers guys, all comments welcome.

Earl cheers for the comments on my Tubby. 8)

Best stuff to use (I've dont a lot of research!) is The Meguiars Quik clay detailing set. Takes ALL the poo out the paint and really does leave it as smooth as glass. Halfrauds do it for about £12 or

Polish I use Zaino 2pro. Its fantastic stuff mate from USA. Been on to loads of sites with independant reviews on all poishes/waxes etc. Zaino comes up top nearly everytime. Goes on a treat, comes off any better and smells soooooooooooo damn good you want to drink the stuff!! (dont!) :D

Gives an amazing result. Paint looks so damn good. :thumleft:

Ok just spent the last 4 hours  re-claying the paint and polishing and sealing the car..... ](*,) :eye:

but...it looks fantastic now!! Even better than in the previous photos. I'm gona waiting for the paint to cool down and then get some P21S Carnauba wax on there.

I'll take some more photos tomorrow and post em up asap. :thumleft:
