Is £4k too much for my UK T-Bar?? Please look

Post by turbo_ricer »

Hi guys,

I know this is the worst time in the world to sell a car, especially a t-bar, but just after some opinions.

Its as following:

Image

1997 UK N/A T-bar
92,000 miles
Leather interior
Border front bumper, veilside sides (both non-original)
17" AME Circlar Jap Import wheels in white (one is actually a TSW Volcano, as my dads FTO came with one cracked one)
3 new tyres
Silver/Black, but could really do with an overspray, as it was keyed before I bought it and the guy had had an average respray.
6 months T&T
Have last 2 MOT's, and had a full service 6 months ago with pad change, but that's all the service history I have.
Sony CD player
MrT MR2 mats
Just about to have a Rhons gear gaitor  8)

Drives well

Should I wait for summer?

Is £4k way over/under priced?

Is anyone interested??

You'll be lucky (IMO). Mis-matched wheels and an 'average' respray? And the mileage isn't exactly *low* (admittedly less than 10k a year).

It does look nice from the pics but I really don't think you'll see £4k unless someone just falls in love with it.

Mileage is a wee bit high but i think that is a very reasonable price. If an enthusiaste knows what he is looking at then you should get the money for it. The alloys are uber expensive and it looks in awesome condition!!

If you are worried you won't get £4000, put some stock wheels on it, and sell for £3300. Then sell your alloys seperate. AME are stunning wheels and not cheap!

i'd say it was worth about 3k due to the slightly high mileage and average paint. might be worth putting it up at 3.5k ono

nice looking car (from the pic at least). I'd say 4k is about right for it.
