North Weald Airfield Day CONVOY

so it's time for me to post up the Convoy details ...

General info:

The airfield is located off Junction 7 of the M11. Follow the signs for North Weald Market and this will take you straight to the airfield. There will be only 1 gate open on the day, next to the Air Traffic Control Tower. The person on the gate will direct you to where you need to be. For those of you with Sat Nav etc, the address is:

Merlins Way
North Weald
Epping
Essex
CM16 6AA

So that said... This convoy is to start from the usual place:

Start point: Thurrock Services
Arrival Time: 7.30am
Departure time: 7.45/7.50am
Arrival @ NW : 8.30am

Thurrock too far south for me! What time do you think you'll hit the M11, I'll try and time my run to catch you there...

although being a weekday and travelling along the M25 and M11 at that time of teh morning who knows

but by leaving Thurrock at 7:45 I've left us 1:15mins max travel time..

And I'll have you know Frank that I'm coming the 'long way' round to meet up with you. You sounded a bit lonely in your second post and I'm keen to make up for the 'Burger Incident'

won't be joing the convoy as i am coming from the other way but just a general question

is anybody else taking spare track wheels , as i have got a spare set ( or just back ones ) , not sure how hard it will be on the tyres , got about 50% on the ones on the car ??

i'm taking a full set of spare wheels. got partworns puton for £50 for all four.
want to be road legal going home.
car kinda attracts attention and don't want any more points.
