Chris Mann of TOTB has asked for as many people as possible to come up so that they can do some sound tests for the event later in the year. If you have a noisy car get up there for a free check :)

£45 for unlimited 1/4m and top speed, helmet required.

I'll be going up to watch, sounds like a lot of people are planning to come to this one.

45quids steep to be fair. York Raceway is 25quid. ill be at elvington though just to watch

I totally agree :(

You get a lot of runs but it's half the cost of a trackday - £25 would get more people running IMO.

aye true. its a shame really, elvingtons a good spot but he must have been pi$$ed when he thought of the prices. doesnt make as much money in the long run. give us a shout when your off, im in bradford aswel

I was chatting to Trevor @ Straightliners today - it seems Elvington have hiked up their prices, his public liability has gone up, fence hire has gone up.... etc etc

Catch 22 really - go cheap and try to attract more people while risking running at a loss and driving people away because it's busy or charge more and let people have more runs.

Tricky one.

I'm hearing a possible £10 entry to watch too :(

so along with petrol its gonna be a good 80quid just for a few runs. expensive day, think im gonna just go and watch instead
