That gorgeous Aeroware Spoiler (for Rev 1 & 2s)

Post by Birdy »

For anyone that's interested in that gorgeous rare spoiler (in the UK anyway!) for rev 1/2s that's been referred to in a few posts recently, in this post for example....

I asked the only place I could find that sells it - St. Andre's in the USA, it's still available.....

St. Andre's -
Aeroware is a very popular spoiler and many manufactures copy Aeroware but Aeroware is the original. I can get you a real Aeroware spoiler with light for $209.95 plus shipping.

Their contact details are:-

ST. ANDRE'S AUTOMOTIVE ACCESSORIES
001 714 891-1002
http://www.standres.com/products/29-1.cfm
[email protected]

At today's exchange rates it's about £120 excluding shipping and getting caught with import duty of course!

So there you are, don't know if anyone's used that company before but thought i'd pass on my findings!

Well, we'll find out what they are like soon. Just ordered one.

£176.00 including shipping. Dunno if I'll get hit for tax though. :)

Please update this thread when they arrive. I might be keepnig my rev2 now (see my other thread in general) so i'll be getting one of these providing they're light enough.

Remember if you guys don't like them i'm happy to swap for a painted high level :)

Got this e-mail last night about the Aeroware spoiler I ordered and paid for from here. St Andres website.

Thank you for your order. We quoted you 98.17 in shipping but we were wrong. We normally ship with UPS or USPS but because of your location our estimated shipping price was way off. UPS wanted $673.15 to ship and USPS cannot deliver a box of that size. We found a alternative shipping company that can ship for $298.10. If you are interested in paying the difference of $199.83 the company can ship the package to the London Air Port. If there is import tax or duty fee it must be paid at pick up. We have your Aeroware boxed and ready to ship. Please contact us and let us know what you would like to do.

I've e-mailed asking for my money back. :(

Well disappointed. Would've looked mint.

That's a stupid shipping price.... I've ordered loads of parts for my wrangler from the state's including big items like bull bar's and roof bars etc and they never came to over 100 dollars for shipping. It was actually quite cheap (cant remember the exact figures)

Looks to me like they just dont want to sell you one.

Got this back from them.

I'm sorry for the shipping problem we had no idea that it would cost so much. Since you are unwilling to pay the difference of $199.93 we will issue a refund in full. We will charge back to your account and you should see the refund on your next billing period.

Looks as though I will be getting my money back. :)
