Rear tyres needed

I need rear tyres replacing as the outsides are very badly worn, only noticed by accident when washing my car . Just wandering what brand people recommend, I have around £110 to spend on them. Want something a bit better than the Nankang's which I currently have.

You have £110 in total or each tyre? Where abouts in the West Mids are ya mate, Wolverhampton?

I live near Stourbridge mate. £110 for both tyres if possible.

Bit over your budget, but 2 Toyo Proxes T1-R's in standard size (225/50/R15) will cost you £152.

Highly recommended. Seem to be wearing quite well too considering the amount of grip they provide.

I second the Proxes T1R. Just bought a set of 4 and I love them to bits! I know they aren't the dog's danglies, but for the money, they're hard to beat.

It may also be to do with the fact I had Nankang EX500s on the back until recently. The deciding factor in the upgrade was one of those 'surely those white lines should be seen throught the windscreen rather than the driver's window??' moments on a motorway sliproad the other day.

Put those Nankangs at arms' reach - they're about as grippy as those moulded plastic tyres on Dinky toys

Try mytyres .co.uk I just got a set from them for my 18's and they were cheaper than I could get them trade!
