Why am I getting Crackle/interference through my radio??

Any ideas why I get crackle through the radio not CD. Its been bugging me since in started before I got my amp/sub set up. Im convinced its coming from the aerial side.

Mines is the same, i aint got an aerial tho lol. I've asked for help as i have no clue what to do but i reckon i'm just gonna get an aerial and put it under the bonet or just throw it in the boot. Don't want it back on the actual car itself so i'll just be leaving it loose. Might need to earth it though

Thought the aerial was earthed soon as you bolt it in.? Could need earthing again? dunno... really cant think it could be anywhere else down the line. only comes straight from the head unit.

Yeah but as i said, i don't have one as it was flushed smooth. I'm going to get one and put it into the bonet, i'm not going to bolt it on so i will need to earth it.
