[Mk2] [Turbo] Oil Leak
Hi there guys, this is my first mr2 and have noticed that there is an oil leak, it is dripping down on the catalytic converter, any ideas or does anyone know any good places to take it to to get it fixed? I am based in kent so anything fairly close would be great help, cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil Leak
classic place to leak is the cam cover. There are 2 gaskets, one in the middle and one around the outside. There are also rubber washers for the cam cover bolts.
If these are perished they leak. If the bolts are over tightened the gaskets leak. If you buy a cheap aftermarket gasket kit they leak.
They can also leak oil into the plug wells.
So basically if the valve cover gasket is leaking then get it fixed properly with genuine gaskets (buy from tcbparts) and washers.

Thanks for the reply, is this an easy thing to do? Could I do it myself or should I take it somewhere, if so any recommendations?
