Rev3 to Rev4 Alloys interesting differences

Bought some excellent Rev4 wheels from Pbmr2 on here, popped on some new tyres and swoped over this morning.

Look great, but while cleaning the Rev3 ones before putting them away noticed a couple of differences

Rev3 have raised ridges on the rear of all 4 something I was aware of as can cause issues if balancing weights are put on top of a ridge. Rev4 don't have these.



The other thing Rev3s have on rears only is a protruding what looks like a locating pin, again not on Rev4. I doubt it matters but wondered what it is for?
