Hub differences between models

Post by CalMac »

Am I right in thinking that all front hubs are the same between revs/turbo/NA except for ABS/Non-ABS and different dust shields?

Rear hubs seem to be more specific - I have a Rev 3 turbo I'm trying to put in a Rev 1 NA import shell, but the hubs that came with the engine are ABS and the shell isn't!

Will any non-ABS turbo rear hubs fit, or do they need to be Rev 3+?

as far as I'm aware the actual upright is the same across all revisions, the only difference being abs or non abs, the turbo drive flanges are different from NA drive flanges.. but there's nothing stopping you from swapping turbo drive flanges into an NA hub when you change the wheel bearing

Hmmm..

Ok I'll have a look at the drive flanges tomorrow and see if I can figure out how to swap them lol

Turns out I can use my spare turbo ABS hubs, just remove the sensors for use on a non-ABS car :D
