[Mk2] [NA] Wheels for a cosmos blue?

Post by MR2Kyle »

Hey folks, now I know this is totally "opinion" related but I'm thinking about getting a fresh set of alloys for my car and was wondering what would look well with a cosmos blue car? So if you have a mk2 in that colour with some aftermarket wheels on her stick up a photo! More the better to help me decide!! Also no harm in seeing a few photos of a mk2 in that colour eh?

SynXero used to have a lovely Rev 5 cosmos blue on 17" AVS Model 5's - that looked fantastic. I've always thought any MR2 looks great on BBS RS/RM too :thumleft:

Real ones - and preferably gold/bright silver - really set off by the dark blue, even on a dull day :thumleft:

right near the top of the search:

Blitz Type 03 in dark bronze.

I would suggest a nice subtle colour like 943 doesn't lend itself to white wheels and black on such a dark colour looks a bit odd. Silver is safe but classy, and gold or bronze split rims would look awesome! :thumleft:

RPF1s. 17x8 front, 17x9 rear if you wanted conservative sizes.

Right I really like the look of these....but I'm looking into a v6 swap so might want to have wider wheels on the rear and....well I'm not really sure of te size of these....I think they are 16s but not sure so any ideas would be appreicted....and I THINK they are rota's but they don't come any wider than 7" on 16s anyhow as I said any help/guesses would be appreciated :thumleft:

Someone should snap these up, not a bad price for really high quality wheels.

Nice wheels. Shame about the weak sauce widths and offsets.

This is an absolute bargain I've got a set of these on the way for my mk1 and I paid a lot more than what these are going for

Dunno what you mean - they're pretty much perfect SW20 fitment!

Wouldn't be far off my current setup... in fact, it would be "better" :thumleft:
