Speedo Cable

Post by SuperRedMR2 »

Is there a way of replacing the threaded cap at the gearbox end instead of replacing the whole cable?

The cap that screws onto the box is shagged basically and I cannot secure it to the box properly. Is there any other way of fixing the drive into the gearbox?

Cheers

I did replace one of mine about 12 years ago.

I just replaced the inner cable and threaded it through. Trying to remember which end had the the threaded cap bit on it.
