Try rubber rejuvenator then Eccentric guides then new seals if that doesn't work.

Don't bodge it with sealant, chewing gum, sellotape, blu-tak or anything like that.

some call it a bodge, others call it a fix. Blu tak, agree with not using that :thumleft:

HaHa, That bit of advice is to late for me, I went out to the car after heavy rain and the leather seat was like a full bucket of water, I nipped to homebase and bought some silicon, problem solved for now but it is going to be fun next spring, lol....

On a more serious note, nothing I have ever tried has been a permanent fix, if you can't handle the drip and are planning on keeping the car long term, just buy new seals.... :thumleft:

Nearly ordered this until I spotted the exact same seller on eBay doing 2 for £10!

Just waiting for it to arrive now.

Is the above products to put onto new seals or will it help old seals? I have a very slight drip, was going to get the sealant out but could try this first.

I'd check the quarter light Windows and vents as quite a lot of these were not sealed very well from factory....just done mine...but now found water coming from a panel seam just down from the quarter Window on both sides...see my other post about this..

Use a bit of butyl tape where the leak is it forever sticky and reusable works better then any stupid silicone sealant that just fails and spits after awhile.

Raptor I was asking about the butyl tape method as mentioned above as not heard of that one.

Yes silicone is easy and straight forward and I had used the guide you linked.

BUT the silicone is NOT sticking firmly to my tbar seals for some reason so I have given up and fancy trying the butyl tape next.
