MR2 Mk1, Supercharger, Tin Top, Manual. Exceptional Condition.

Post by DNOS808 »

For Sale Mr2 Mk1-

Supercharger,
Tin Top,
Manual Gearbox,
Air Con,
White over Silver Two Tone Paint,
Black Interior,

This Mk1 MR2 is in truly superb condition. It is undoubtedly one of the best Mk1s in the country. If you are looking for a Mk1 MR2 to take to the shows then this is the one.

There are many things that make this Mk1 so special including-

1) The top specification- it ticks ALL of the boxes. Try finding another Mk1 tin top supercharger with air-con in this condition!

2) Absolutely superb rot free bodywork. They don't salt the roads in Japan. Tin tops do not have roof channel drains into the sills and so the sills are not filled with water every time it rains unlike with the T-bar or sunroof cars. I have always garaged this car and it never ever goes out in the winter! I would be surprised if you could find a more rust free example in Arizona!

3) Beautiful paintwork.

4) Excellent interior.

5) Gearbox and all other mechanicals work as they should.

6) Loads of service history and receipts for thousands spent.

7) This is the tightest best driving Mk1 I have ever known in over ten years of Mk1 ownership.

8) No silly modifications. The only changes from standard are the Magnex stainless exhaust, 15" Alloys and the usual enlarged Supercharger Pulley. Even the stereo and associated wiring are standard Toyota.

9) The tin top roof version of the Mk1 has the stiffest lightest body shell of all of the mk1s, this makes the Supercharged go-cart handling even better.

Good examples of the Mk1 Supercharger are becoming extremely hard to find now. This car could well turn out to be a very canny investment for someone. The classic car scene is just starting to become aware of the performance of Mk1 Supercharger and I am sure values are going to rise in coming years.

I am asking £5300

Any questions send a message.
