Brands hatch june evening, anyone interested?

I was thinking of doing an evening at brands next month. The only ones I can see are on opentrack or MSV which is a novice evening.

The opentrack one looks like there would be more time on track available with the msv one being split into 15 min sessions.

Anyone used opentrack before? Also anyone else fancy doing brands in june?

I did end up going to the opentrack event, it was brilliant. Brands is great fun!

It was flipping hot though, although being an evening session it got cooler as the day went on.

Very impressed with the opentrack guys!

I think I might need an oilcooler after I swapped my dying ct20 for an only oil cooled TD05. It seemed allot slower for oiltemps to drop, although it doesnt help how hot it was and a cooldown lap is so short it didnt do much.

i like the idea of these evening sessions, I have too much mechanical sympathy for a full day.
When my car is setup im going to sign up, Brands is not too far for me.

I'd love to go back again and its great not having to drive for hours on end to get to a track.
I think pistol pete also wanted to do an evening at somepoint!

Are you still running standard internals with the TD06?

Its a td05-16g and yeah standard internals. Its a bit bigger than a ct20 but not much, 12psi feels about what 16psi would be on a ct20.

Full boost is made at about 3200rpm too, so it's pretty decent.

Being the indy circuit it was busy at times, didnt have to wait long to get on though.

Put up a thread if you go, i'd be interested depending on the dates and i'm sure there will be others here who might want to come!

Will do, i have a bit of work to do in the car first though so it not going to be anytime soon.

Im sure i could get some of the Essex meet guys to come along as well.
