After 6 years of proud ownership the time has come to part company with my beloved MR2 Turbo. Theres no baby on the way or new job its a simple case of it being the right time to move on.
As said, ive owned the car for 6 years come the 28th of March and its been a journey to say the least, you just have to check my profile out to see what has been done. Me and the car have been through an awful lot and i dont regret a second of it.
Anyway enough of the dramatics! Its time to talk about the car, ill break it down to make things easier. I will be as honest as i possibly can because i know how it feels to be on the end of a bum deal because my MR2 journey began on a bum deal (head gasket!)
So the car is a 1990 H reg Revision 1 turbo GT T-bar in Black (117k miles on chassis, 110k miles on engine). It was garaged every winter (Oct March) since 2009. Youll notice the mods were all fitted during the winter months apart from the engine swap. I have a history file an inch thick and can produce invoices for every single oil change, sensor swap, gasket refresh e.t.c e.t.c All parts except for a few service items (see below) have been genuine Westover Toyota in Poole. There are no leaks, coolant usage, oil usage e.t.c. No smoke on start up, no smoke on boost. The car pulls hard to the redline and is set to 13.9psi. The car flys through MOTs every year and this year will be no exception. The car is only MOTd until June, which is unfortunate as there is not a lot of margin, however, if the right buyer comes along, with the right price, the car will be MOTd early.
Engine:
Apex-i intake. Fitted 2008
2.5 Downpipe and Mongoose Exhaust system. Fitted August 2009.
New XS Power intercooler with SPAL fan and Shroud, fitted January 2010.
Gizzmo MS-IBC, fitted January 2010 (14psi).
HKS FCD , fitted September 2010 (set 18psi).
CT20b turbo bought from steve-m-uk with 55k on it. I have done approximately 15k, fitted Jan 2011.
Aircon compressor removed. Pipes terminated in Engine bay.
Revision 2 turbo block and head (102k miles) bought from Peter Gidden (S-bits). I have an invoice from Peter totaling over £1k of work before sale to me. Main points: MLS Head gasket, new cambelt, cambelt tensioner, tensioner idler pulley, water pump. All other ancillaries associated with a rebuild of this kind refreshed. I refreshed all the injector seals and gaskets with OEM parts during install. I swapped the engine out in May 2012 and have since put approximately 8k miles on the engine.
Car dynoed at 269.3bhp, 248.1 Lb-ft torque at 13.9psi at K-tec racing in August 2012. (print out and video on link)

Gearbox:
Standard gearbox, no whines or crunches, oil replaced at the same time as engine swap with Comma 75w-90.
New national clutch kit fitted 2012 (same time as engine swap).
Suspension:
BC racing coilovers fitted February 2011. Covered 15k.
Full Prothane Bush kit fitted February 2011.
Front and Rear drop links fitted February 2011.
Front and Rear ball joints fitted February 2011.
Bodywork
NO rust! The body work, bar a few door dings is immaculate, there are no door bubbles, sill bubbles, windscreen bubbles e.t.c. All the usual places are regularly checked (Boot, frunk e.t.c). I had some sill work carried out on the drivers side sill section (approx 18 inches) Early 2011. I had the car completely checked over by a specialist and had no further recommendations. I have inspected and kept my bodywork and sills up together every year since.
Rev 2 front lip
Steering Fogs
Clear front indicators
Lazy eye kit
Electric mirrors
BSA performance 16 Alloys (Falken FK452s at the moment but have some Khumos to go on)
Rev 3 rear lights and center panel
Set of 4 Genuine Rays Engineering split rims (require refurb) that will be thrown in as well.
UK rear bumper changed by previous owner due to paint scuff. The bumper came off during engine swap and no rear end damage was observed. Pictures to prove 
Interior
Momo champion steering wheel.
Kenwood Mask stereo.
Prosport oil temperature and Pressure gauges.
Half leather interior (drivers side could do with a touch up but no splits in material).
Fly comp speaks
Toad AI600 (cat 1) professionally installed with certificate.
TRD short shifter.
Electric windows (all working perfectly)
Service.
Car has been serviced every single year or within 5k. Oil has always been 5w 40 although i did have a stint with 15w 50, Mobil only apart from recently used Total 5w 40. Filters always genuine Toyota (invoices to prove).
BKR7E copper plugs (colder grade used) replaced at 5k or every year.
Denso leads from GTS chris fitted January 2011.
Dizzy cap and Rotor arms from Camskill, non OEM.
Passenger side front brake caliper replaced 2010 with refurbed unit from S-bits.
Brake pads replaced with Camskill pads February 2011.
Ok, i think that just about covers it but please feel free to ask questions! I have placed some photos below for people to view. I am looking for £2,700, which i think is a fair price given the condition, parts and spec this car provides. I am open to negotiation but please, if you think this is overpriced e.t.c, please PM me with advice rather than comment on the thread. Thank you for reading.

Absolutely gorgeous car - if only I didn't have an MR2 already. I hope it goes to a person who will love it

Wow, car is a beaut. Almost enough to tempt me back to MR2 ownership if you still have it in a few weeks

Hi All,
My MR2 is back up for sale! This time it has to go as i'm now the proud owner of a Mercedes.
Mods and description remains the same although, i have a few more miles on the clock, currently 193,000km which is 119k miles.
Everything still runs as it should and the Car has MOT until June 2015 (no advisories on last years MOT except loud exhaust (Mongoose)). Oil changed back in November with Mobil 5w 40 and OEM oil filter. Plugs (BKR7E) changed in June last year.
I no longer have the Rays wheels as these were sold separately.
I am now looking for £2200 ONO. Only problem is is that i no longer have insurance or tax on the car (had to switch to Merc), therefore, we'll have to come to some arrangement for test drive.
Many thanks.

I'm glad you wrote that because it was supposed to be £2200!! The extra £500 was for the wheels and tires on the original thread last year.
I've edited my original post. Thanks again.

Any leaks from the HFH or HFHOE, are they still original from factory?

No, these were both replaced when the engine was swapped in 2012.
Just so everyone who has been PMing is aware. I have somebody coming to look at the car this Saturday. I will update everyone once a decision has been made. Thanks everyone for your interest so far.
