Doesn't look like it, a quick google has turned up a thread on the mk1 club forum where this was discussed, looks like this is a different car in the same colour

No. Stuart's was an SC of course, plus his was a brighter green I think. He actually got the colour matched to the James Bond Jaguar which was in a bright metallic green. Can't remember the film title but it was the one in which it battled with JB's Aston over a load of ice and drove into an ice palace or something.

I was with Stuart at the time at the NEC Classic Car Show (circa 2002) where they had the Bond cars on display and he decided that this would be the colour for his car.

Once his conversion was done, he only took it to a few events before he seemed to fade away from the scene. Shame really. :(

Blimey, there's me talking to Stuart (I think) in the background! And all the old crew, complete with Richard Morgan (who is now to be found preaching the good word in Loughborough) too!

That's a while ago Kevin!

It's one of the ones i built

It sold recently for £800 on Ebay, so the new seller has whacked the price up and relisted it, buyer beware.

Bloody horrible.

That was my first event too - I'm probably stood to the side of the shot, not knowing anybody!

How are Fred and Doris doing? And is Flitzer still on the road?
