My focus ST.. now replaced :( on page 2 :)

Post by pistol pete »

My car had been running exhaust, eibach springs, Dreamscience induction and Dreamscience Race+ map

My clutch was starting to slip badly and driveshafts were driving me bonkers

So saved so money and went in the hunt of someone to do some work..
After looking around on here decided on Devil developments in little hampton West sussex..

Spoke with Lee on the phone and dropped the car off last wednesday

Had a good chat about what i wanted/ did and didn't need

I know i was a pain in the when dropping off and picking up with all my questions etc, but lee was very patient and explained everything even found an annoying rattle i had..

The biggest delay was the driveshafts.. but the work completed was

Block Mod
RS Clutch
move the induction to better location
Driveshafts
RS oil cooler
Airtec intercooler
Opted for a sports CAT
3" downpipe
tighten handbrake
Driveshaft gearbox seals
Revo Stage 2 remap
Uprated plugs..

Lee said with the sports CAT to expect around 324hp

Well wen i arrived today to pick up it was just coming off the rollers witha healthy 331.6hp

But what struck me was how difference it is to drive..
sooo much smoother, the way it gathers speed it just insane
Exhaust is less droney.. Lee confirmed my exhuast is actually a miltek

Love the RS clutch, heavy but a good feel, the wife is still trying to get used to it

the power delivery is so very smooth but just keeps pulling and the noise on full chat is insane, sounds very different to the dreamscience map too

Huge thumbs up from me.

As for figures...
now confirmed, when i went to the pyranese i was running a low code red map of 240hp, this was enough in this car to very much annoy craig in his mr2
my last dreamscince map which felt very quick was 265.. and now this..

Some nice power there. It`s hot hatches like this that are pushing me to spend some coins and go forged!

Well as the weather is getting better and a few peeps gonna want their car cleaned, though I had better get the st back up to scratch after an abused couple of months while sorting Kels car etc

So with all new products through the post and with a dull day it still looks lovely and feels like glass

I really love this car

Nice work Pete, car looks great. Soooooo much better for replacing the stock wheels!

Now, get out there and scrub the surface rust off those discs!
