change of wheels needing advice or help !!!!!!!

Post by kevin millar 1977 »

alright folks going to do a change of wheels on my mr2 from 18s running standard shocks with stiffened springs at the moment. To the new wheels I bought without tyres just on Monday they arrived at mine today they are a set of Toyota supra mk4 rims that I got. The sizes are 2x 17x8 2x 17x9 so need a bit of advice as to what size of tyres to fit to them for my mr2 cheers guys. Put a link on to let everybody see what I have just bought

how about the offsets??

im sure i read you may need to run spacers with these wheels??

215/40 and 245/40 would be a good bet, though some say 245/35 to keep it closer to stock rolling radius for the rears.

This is what I run and they are fine but need some arch rolling. 35s will be a harder ride but as mentioned it'll be nearer to the rolling radius.
