Hi All,
As my new MR2 has passed MOT and is now roadworthy, with only a couple of bits to finish off, I would like to once again make an appearance at JAE.
I last had an MR2 6 years ago and used to come to all the events, IMOC, MR2DC etc and did promise myself a couple of shows this year if I could get the car rebuilt and resprayed.
It will be nice/interesting to see who still attends since I last came along.

I can imagine JAE has got a lot bigger since your last JAE appearance! I am guessing that would of been Peterborough show ground?

We have certainly moved on from Billing! The last 5 years have been at Wicksteed, then prior to that there was a visit to Mersea island, and I think two years

Well, as most of you know already, the rebuild is taking longer than expected so i won't be able to make it this year. I think i'd rather delay the finish date and miss this years shows than rush to finish it and do it wrong.
So i won't be able to make this, but as long as everything carries on as it is, should be ready for next year.

Why not come anyway?
Don't have to bring the 2.You can come to meet the people and for the craic.
As for finished car, I have been to JAE in a French car, Italian car, in an MR2 with wings held together with duct tape.
Oh and on a Suzuki motorcycle.
Its not all about the cars.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!
