front bottom caliper sliders

was stripping down brakes to clean up and regrease and both bottom slider are stuck fast ...brakes arent binding or anything ...tried a chizel to drive them out without success...any ideas /tips to remove them ...cheers

Do they rotate freely?

yep the rotors rotate freely, brakes not binding , strange as top are fine and were cleaned and greased at the same time ..

Not so strange... the bottom are a different design, they have a rubber bushing around the end and it can swell in certain situations. Then it comes off the slider and jams the whole lot solid.

When I've had that happen I had to just persevere with tapping it out while rotating it and eventually got it to move.
