def 22v rev2+ calipers, the discs are around 280mm on rev2+ so measure them

16V = Rev1
22V = Rev2-5.

:lol: @ ebay Brembo stickers... They don't even fit the calipers ](*,)

Could be rev2+ calipers on enlarged discs. Check for caliper spacing brackets. Hard to tell without a wheel for size comparison! Ps not real Brembos :lol:

LOL, obviously not brembo!

So if they are rev2+ why are they exactly the same as my rev1 of which are marked v16.

Also why do the pads hand over the edge of the disks of which are 285 mm as Jason specified?

They won't be. 16V calipers are not the same as 22V calipers.

One has 16V on, and one has 22V on.

Simples. :wink:

Here are the pictures of the other caliper. I have measured them up including the brackets and I just can't find any differences. The cylinders are the same the brackets the dimensions :-k

never had them side by side, but perhaps the differences are in the carriers to space the calipers out more for the bigger discs

](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

If we look at the first picture, the pads barley utilise any of the disk! This seems futile as there is no benefit from larger disks except the heat conductivity attributes.

To coin Peters expression, they could be 'paddy field' copies!

I have fitted the working one (alleged rev2+) to a rev1 disk (rota), they seem to be a better fit.

The caliper pad setup (both rev2) seems wrong as the pad is sitting proud of the outside edge of the disk!

Just had a thought :!:

I am putting a turbo engine in a UK na.

Obviously I have had to swap the hubs over to accommodate the larger driveshafts. I swapped the whole unit containing the hub. Maybe there is a difference in the units, a difference of which directly affects where the caliper is positioned over the disk?

The pads do fit right on the outside of the disks, there is about 1" of disk on the inside the pad misses.
The pads should not over hang the outside of the disk.

The V22 callipers should be used with the Rev 2 disks
