Had a week holiday but I'm back now

Taxed the car before my holiday and drove it for about 10 miles or so (off boost). Everything feels good with no strange noises, knocks of feels. however the car desperately needs mapping so it's booked in with Ryan (2bar) on Friday 23rd ready for bank holiday weekend :D

Took delivery of a rev4 steering wheel last week so this morning I removed the air bag charge thing then fitted the wheel in the car. Needs re-trimming but it's much better than the momo that was in there

You'll be in good hands with Ryan, he's a good guy. Make sure everything is as ready as it can be before you go though, so you don't need to spend time fettling there or have to go back in the future. I say that as that's what i had to do on my first visit, due to cam timings being way out.

I follow 2Bar on Facebook and some of the things he maps are just insane!

Aww dude those rav4 wheels are for boats only!

No sports car should have a four-spoke wheel :(

It's much better than that momo that was on there. May go for a mk3 wheel eventually but I like the rev4 wheel for now :)

Picked up a set of Rota wheels with good tyres on them :) These will do brilliantly until I get my Enkei's refurbed and get some new tyres for them :D

Took the day off work last Friday to go see Ryan @ 2bar :D

Alan Wheeldon kindly volunteered to come with me so I loaded the car onto the trailer on Thursday night ready for the off.. We met up at work at 7am Friday morning, hitched up the trailer and set off :)

On the dyno

Great results Vinny.. I know you are happy with the results and understandably so... Yet further proof of a strong strong engine..

Yeah Ryan did a few checks to test the engine out and all seems healthy :D

And yeah mate I went to Wales over the weekend with the mids mr2 lot and stretched its legs :D I'm only running it at low boost (0.9bar) and it pops a boost pipe off on high boost lol.. I need to replace one of my pipes but to be honest its fast on low boost

Also one of the adjusters on the koni inserts has seized and snapped set on hard so the car doesn't handle great, especially in the wet so I'll be ordering 2 new rear inserts shortly too :thumleft:

Lovely looking car mate :) After a set of those Rota's for mine too at some point, suit the m2 perfectly imo.
