Hi all.

This is probably going to be a bit of a tome.

I've owned MK2s for a few years now and generally know my way in and around them.

If I was buying or selling one I'd certainly know my stuff.

The same is simply not true of the MK1 nor the MK3.

There is a very strong chance I am however about to come into possession of

/ be responsible for selling a very very nice condition MK1.

It was bought new by a lady close to our family, back in whatever year she bought it, and has been owned by her consistently since.

I believe the story is she is now too old to need a car so it's time to sell.

I have not yet had my greasy mitts on the car.

I suspect it will be a 100% standard MR2 as it came from the factory in 80-something.

I suspect also it will be in extremely good condition, likely with very low mileage, and probably 100% Toyota service history.

I don't know if it'll be N/A or Supercharged, T-Bar or otherwise.

I do know it's white, and based in Yorkshire.

I don't know the year of the car nor the VIN number, yet.

I will be needing a lot of help from you guys to correctly identify the car.

I will get some pictures from the owner as best I can, and share them here so you can give me a hand informing me of its precise spec, and approximate worth.

What information is most critical for me to obtain?? Are there any key images that would specify the car clearly?
