I bought this car in November as a project for the winter months so a T-Bar removeable roof was imperitive as it was my summer car for weekends. Looked for a while before finding this car which was mint, I drove it down from Newcastle and it was amazing - no bumps,rattles and everything works.

Car is in fantastic condition for age, it has original T Bar blinds and storage bags in great condition. Spare wheel and tool kit. I've spent hours on the paintwork bringing it out and have clayed and numerous polishing layers so it looks like glass. Everything works, mirrors, windows etc



Over the winter months i have completed the following work myself:

Full service (oil & filter, plugs, dizzy cap etc, thermostat and coolant change)
Replaced both cancer bars - small suspension braces that are prone to rott on mr2 - with brand new items from Toyota
Replaced reversing light switch on gearbox with new one including crush gasket from Toyota
Had the windows professionally tinted (rear 3 limo and front 2 smoked)
Re-sealed the T-Bar glass panels
Replaced all bulbs for piece of mind
Fitted crystal clear side repeaters and front sidelights with LED side markers
Fitted a JDM front square plate on an import plate mount
Wax-oyled the sills


Bad points (every car has them)

Electric aerial doesnt fully retract - but doesnt affect radio at all
Few small dints and scratches but for a 17 year old car nowhere near what you would expect - better than my daily driver fiesta 06
Small mishap in garage resulted in a golf ball sized hole in sill on drivers side - quoted £100 to weld it up no problem.
some tiny rust bubbles around T Bar but nothing to worry about


Car has never seen wet weather since i've had, is garaged all the time and is a head turner - people comment on its condition for age and I am only selling as I have seen another mr2 id like but cant justify having 3 cars in total.
