Hi all
am new to this site, but have heard about a test track at bruntingthorpe near leciester?
thinking of taking my mr2 round the track, just wondered if anyone has been round prev and got any advice pls?

Have a look at the anouncement post about the Elvington airfield day.. we are having an IMOC day there next month!
Brunty is okay, its an airfield so plenty of room.
Expect a fair amount of tyre wear on the concrete, depending upon how hard you push it of course.
Just make sure your car is in good working order and that you have enough tyres, brake pad etc to get you home afterwards.

noticed this post a while back but i did bruntingthorpe on saturday. it is an airfield based track so is quite abrasive. it did this to my tyres
despite the increased tyre wear, it was a really good fun track and i had a great day. it is a high speed track, so expect a lot of brake wear too.

If it's high speed there should be next to no brake wear

unfortuntly, you still have to brake for corners, hence the high brake wear. 120mph down to 40 for a few corners in succession does get the brakes a bit warm.
