Hello Guys
I am after a bit of advise....
I currently have a rev 2 turbo and I am looking to the future and replacing the engine.
The two options I am looking at are
1. Buying another rev2 engine and rebuilding it i.e balancing everything, forge pistons, hybrid turbo.
2. Buying a Rev 3 engine and doing a rev 3 conversion and doing the same mods.
However by looking in to it a bit a standard rev 3 engine is much more expensive than a rev2. Is the rev 3 engine that much better or would a clean rev 2 engine be as good?
Thanks
Dan

i'd stay with rev2. Build a forged one if you need more power.
Rev3 engine will cost more, and you have to account for wiring, ecu, and all work involved there...

If you're changing the engine anyway I'd go rev3+

Thanks guys for your replies! I am
Looking like I will do a rev 3 conversion.
Can any one give me some hints or tips on doing this conversion?
Is it right to say I need a complete rev 3, rev 3 ecu and engine loom?
