Quick update, car went off to Nathan last week.

This week Nathans took the motor out and stripped it down ready for machining, he found it was actually head gasket that had gone not the rings :o

However he has said that the main bearings looked a bit dodgy so it'll be worth while plus at least it's forced me down the forged route to get good power :)

So after about 3 week of Nathan having the car it was ready for collection last night so I'm now busy running it in and really enjoying the nice new rebuilt engine :)

I also purchased a few additonal parts for the build:

- ARP Main studs & Bolts
- ARP Flywheel Bolts
- Exedy Stage 1 Organic clutch
- F1 Racing Fly wheel
- Silcone Water hoses

Here are the pics that Nathan kindly took for me B)

So I now need to find a 2nd hand Link ECU and it stills needs the bored out fuel rail and 540cc injectors fitting then it will be Mapping time :D

I havent updated my thread for a while but I have been busy doing a few bits so thought it was about time

First of all I have been trying to make the interior a bit less bland

Installed a Momo Race steering wheel, Stainless dial surround and White dials

Fitted a new leather gear gaitor and hand brake gaitor

Image

Also carbon wrapped the centre console.

Image

Nathan fitted my Rev3 rear lights but they were a bit dull so I machine polished them back to life

Also had a new Japspeed exhaust fitted :)

Image

I bought some Apex springs and new KYB top mounts to improve the handling which are currently being fitted

Image

Finally I have bought a Thor racing branded Link Ecu which is also currently being fitted and should be mapped hopefully in the next couple of weeks :D
