Got some one coming to look at my car at 8pm to night said he would give me cash, its a 1996 10th anniversary, 11 mot, 5 tax, 116k, see picks in my garage, any ideas what it would be worth?

Typically he never showed up after i waited in all evening and now wont answer his phone. He had not seen the add on here so i'm assuming he is not a forum user.

He'd offered me £1200 over the phone, which i thought was cheap, told him to come and have a look but didn't show.

Also, another guy keeps emailing me trying to get me to give him my address but never rings me when i give him my phone number.

I'm a bit reluctant to give him my address without speaking to him especialy as he keeps saying he will "definitly buy my car" etc...

Do you think i should be careful about giving out my address without speaking on the phone? Does this sound risky?

i'd be careful as well; years ago my boss was selling his Impreza. Two blokes came down, went for a test drive and said they'd think about it... That night it went missing,

I assume from your ad they will have all the car details, he has your name and phone number and once he has your address he can ring the vehicle or even look to get credit details to clone an account/steal your ID.

I agree with FormySin, be careful as the buyer seems to be avoiding reasonable requests.
