Track Camber set-up on stock suspension

Post by 2barGee »

hey up everybody, i will be tracking my car in march and i've change a lot since last time i was out on track.

Ive sacked off my coilovers for stock suspension now with lowering springs.

I’m going to go for laser alignment in the next few weeks and i am after a decent set-up for track, what does everybody else run for track.

Cheers dan :thumleft:

This is what we use-

Front toe 0deg
Rear toe 0.3deg/3mm IN (per side)
Front camber -2.0deg
Rear camber -1.5deg
Front castor 3.0deg (if adjustable)

Im hopefully getting mine set up for track and road use.

Not sure if I will be using different springs to you but I will post up what the car is set up with.

Just need to get some springs and then I can book it in.

Ours is actually on coilovers but the fact you're going to be using it on track is why you should set it up with the extra negative camber, especially at the front to reduce understeer. You will need 'camber bolts' if you don't already have them but theses are readily available :thumleft:

Cheers for the info mate. :thumleft:

I've got camber bolts in at the moment but since moving from the colivers back to standard i've noticed understreer so hoefully this will get rid of that.

I'm starting to strip the car so its nearly ready for donington park next month

I have -1.5 camber front and -3 camber on the rear. Never get under steer.
