Help - need stiffer springs than Tein S.Tec..?

Post by Hotbadger »

Hi

Currently preparing a car for MR2 Championship next year.

Regulations state:

Uprated/lowered springs are permitted provided they are the same outside diameter as the standard coil and are made from one continuous length of wire.

A lot of people use Tein S.Tec but they are quite soft, and although they do help by lowering the car, I would like to find a much stiffer spring within the regulations above...

.. anyone know of something?

Thanks for the link and comments.

This is primarily a race car so RSR sound like the way to go, and a lot stiffer than the Tein that people in the championship are not all that happy with.

It seems thought that the drop on the RSR is quite small compared to the others, is this true or are the figures not quite right?

I changed mine for Apexis, and to my eye they look about the same,
