[Mk2] [Turbo] ABS Fault

Hi

Do these cars have a G-Force sensor fitted? If so where would it be?

My ABS light stays on and a diagnosis has given a fault code for a G-Force sensor. The garage does not know where this unit is and I did not think that these cars even had one!

You already posted this in the Mk3 forum and received a few replies but I dunno where that thread has gone.

I think Patrick from Rogue Motorsport responded by saying only Rev 4 & 5 cars have the decelerometer and it should be bolted to the top of the central tunnel, underneath the stereo and heater controls.

He said that it's a metal box with a yellow sticker on the top and people usually assume it's something to do with the airbags because of its position.

I think somebody else posted to say that a replacement from Toyota will be seriously expensive.
