What the hell have they done?!

I knew it was coming out and saw it in the shops yesterday so picked it up thinking i was quite keen for some C&C action.

This isnt C&C, you dont even build bases!

Id take it back if i could its a right joke.

Is it that different? What`s the aim of the game now then? I used to love the original, spent hours addicted to it! Building... Construction complete...

It doesnt seem to be anything like the classics

Your MVC is now called a crawler and you can deply and pack it up wherever you want.

The crawler builds your units rather than buildings and you can order them whilst its not deployed but then when it does it spits out all the units in one go.

Your supposed to move across the map (crawler included) and capture points.

Theres not even an enemy base to be seen.

I have only played Skirmish and a couple of single player levels but judging by reviews thats pretty much the game summed up.

Last in the Tiberian series too.

I know they havent been great since EA took over but the basics were atleast included.

Cant even take the damn thing back. Really dont get why they decided to screw with a winning formula.
