MOT Time

Post by SuperRedMR2 »

Got to book my MOT in, for the middle of February.

In the middle of refurbing Mk3 rear Calipers, fitting new yellow stuff rear pads and a set of s/s braided hoses, which should sort out any braking problem that could come up, especially the handbrake area.

Suspension is koni and now 2 years old, so i doubt ill have to worry about anything like that. all track rods, ball joints and toe arms were changed when suspension done. Tyres all fine.

What else to look at?

Make sure you have your screen wash toppped up!

A friend of mine failed on this last year..

But I imagine on these cars rust is always going to be the achilles.

What a wanky MOT station  I forgot this with my Mk1 and they filled it up to test it then past my 20 year old car with No advisories.

I think your mate needs to find a new MOT station

Just fully refurbed mk3 rear calipers to chuck on, the handbrake wont be an issue :)
