[Mk2] [Turbo] MOT ideas....

Post by GTSAARON »

Hi all,

I need to get the car through the MOT asap and due to work commitments at the moment I shall struggle to find time to do a permanent fog light mod to the rear lights [obviously this is the best solution]. So, as a temporary measure I was thinking that I will just cable tie a 'halfords special' fog light to the rear grill, now, does this light have to be switched from inside the car or can it be switched on the light unit itself, if it is allowed this way then a bicycle light could suffice lol I hate cheapo measures but I just need a temporary fix to get the tubby through lol If not any suggestions very welcome :-)

P.s. any other potential MOT failures arising from the car being an import?

Many thanks

Aaron
