To answer the questions, swapped out a Berk Tech exhaust in favour of the HKS.

Apart from only weighing about half the weight of the Berk, the exhaust is a very quiet exhaust in comparison.

I do not annoy the neighbourhood when i start the car early and at cruising speed it is not noticeable and the droning noise is no more.

Well pleased with mine.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] tubby hks exhaust pics
any performance drop moving to the hks from the berk??or gain??? cheers
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] tubby hks exhaust pics
Can't say i've noticed any.
I'm running standard boost, with the addition of Induction kit and Phoenix power intercooler.
I think the sound from the Berk is great, don't get me wrong!
a bit tinny at first until it has sooted up a bit
, however, at my ripe old age i like to get about without any attention.

Yeah- it is impressive the difference some nice wheels, a decent exhaust and a tubby engine lid make isn't it.
