Hi...

I moved up to Aberdeen a couple of months ago...

Im struggling to find anywhere that has Mk1 experience...

I dont mind traveling a bit for a good job but i cant need to go to England surely???

i usually take my tubby to a guy in Dundee, he's really good, just started up on his own, not too expensive either, i'll dig out the number tomorrow :thumleft:

If you do have to go to England, then Woodsport is your place, in Durham

Any Toyota specialist (independant) should be familiar with the engine as it was used in a fairly huge array of Corollas :thumleft:

TBH, it's not that much different from many other modern fuel injection engines either. They're not rocket science :thumleft:

However, before I started doing the work on my own engines, I prefered taking it somewhere that knew the cars too.

There's bound to be one or two members up your way too that has loads of experience with the cars (Jimi?) :thumleft:
