well this is my demo car replica 355 I built this for myself but also for the company to use as there demo car as I build custom cars and kit cars it seemed like a good idea.
I was looking to buy a replica 355 kit for a bit of winter fun in the garage but when i looked into the kits available I was disapointed at the shape of them compaired to the real deal.
After some hard hunting I found a guy that had the old rock kit which was moulded of a real 355 altho modified to fit a pontiac. so we struck a deal and between us reworked the kit using a real 355 borroed, cheers grahem lol he never newwhat we did to his car lol......the end result was a close copy alot closer than most in shape length and style.
.. ya never going to get it spot on using another car for the base but ya can get it close enough to look right to the eye.alot of time money and effort later and i managed to finish the car,
I based my kit on the rev1 turbo import mr2 t top and was very lucky to get 1 with the chassi number matching the new shape of the car 0000355.I have had alot of fun with this 2 and in the process helped out the guy get his kit car company of the ground and also giving me some pocket money building cars for people for him.
