[Mk2] [Turbo] Which Coilover kit?

Post by alan1150 »

I'm looking to upgrade to a coilover kit in the near future, was just wondering on peoples opinions on what to go for.
I was thinking of going for the BC coilovers (not inverted) as they are priced well.
I've read a couple of posts on people having probs with fitting the HSD coilovers so was going to steer clear of these.
I wanted to know are the BC coilovers any good or is it best to do some extra saving and get some Tein ones.

i dont think the issue with the HSD's fitment was really an issue. only one person had real issues and im not sure it was the coilover.anyway i think they sorted it.

i have them myself and they are the cheapest monotube design dampers available. All the DRiftworks cars use them. i havent driven with mine yet, but every one i have spoken to who owns them, say there fantastic. offering superior comfort and performance.

BC coilovers have also been highly recomended.

If they are both highly recommended i guess it i'll be going for one of them, it seems pointless to pay out extra for a set of Tein if the BC,HSD are doing the job as well. :D

Seriously consider if you really want coilovers on our roads.

How about ARB upgrade, new bushes and see how she handles?
