Where does vacuum lines connected to? (Pics request)

Post by razmrtwo »

As u know there are three holes for the vacuum lines on the intake plenum for the 4AGE 16V red top. But my mechanic blocked of all the lines and they were not connected to anything on the engine. Where does the specific hole connected to? Provide me with pics please..

Are you talking about the ones on the throttle when the air intake connects or the others that run via the metal pipes for fuel & TVIS?

It connects to a little Y shaped pipe that's stuck into the inlet tract.

Ah yes you're right Jimi. #-o The VSV then connects to the inlet.

Sorry been staring at a V6 for too long.

Thanks for the pics Jimi. That is really helpful. I will try to connect the silicone hose to the idle VSV :thumleft:
