Has anyone got/used one of these kits before, or anything similar?

Are they any good?

Re: Remote Central Locking
I had something similar (but without the actuators, you don't need them as the MR2 already has central locking).
However, when I finished wiring it in, I found it randomly failed to turn off the car alarm
This may have had something to do with the wiring in the door not being in the best of condition.
I removed it.

If at first you don't succeed...

Re: Remote Central Locking
Interesting, as I just looked at my key to see there's a "lock / unlock" button ans a battery inside the key... so I assume mine has remote locking??? Probably just needs a new battery???

Re: Remote Central Locking
I fitted the 2 door version kit to my mums KA for her, dont be fooled by what they say about the fitting time, it took me about 6 hours, real pain in the butt, plus it makes the interior and exterior door handles very stiff, could hardly pull the interior handles, poor cow had to roll the window down and reach out to the exterior handle to let herself out till i removed the kit and put it all back to standard.
The only good thing to come out of that waste of time was i used 1 of the actuators on my bike to flip the number plate up at the press of the button when the need arises
