Micheal, is that Ashley that lives Weymouth way?

If so I have some old numbers for him but he was always difficult to get hold of. Failing that it might be worth getting hold of Eddie and Mags in Fordingbridge. He used to store his car up there over the winter months.

He definintely used to have a white tin top auto supercharger.

If have made a call, Micheal, and all my eggs were in this basket.

Unfortunately, Eddie and Mags no longer have a current phone number for him either. He used to change his mobile number regularly, for some reason, and no one has a current one.
The only other thing I can think of is to try Transport of yesteryear in Dorset. He used to belong to this club as well and they may have something. I have been looking for there website but thats not working at the moment

Probably not a great deal of help but I met Ashley at Silverstone in 2006, he had the rare blue coloured Mk1a.. I saw said Mk1a on ebay a number of weeks ago.. it sold for a pittance

Paul, save your money.

Go to Google and type in "tracing agents" there are plenty of businesses that specialise in finding people.

Expect to pay around £25 + VAT upwards for a trace, but you can get a "no trace-no fee" arrangement.

You'll need to give full name,last known address, all contact numbers etc that you can find.

It can be very very hard to keep yourself off the radar.

I have used a number of these agents during my time as a solicitor, some are good, some are bad, but you'll get a result.
