I realise this is a very old topic , I'm a new member as I have just bought a 1989 AW11 N/A in Australia and it was sold new in Australia and as such its a hardtop .
However it has the Super Edition Recaro seats in it with the mesh headrests but not the Momo steering wheel or the shift knob .
From what I can ascertain the car came new with the seats and it was an option at the time ??
Not sure if it has the matching door cards as I wasn't aware till I saw this post that such a thing was a thing !!
The car is not stored here so I will get some pic's tomorrow .
Trying to find out more about it but I can say the seats are fabulous , I guess I'll have to sit in some " normal " seats just to see the difference !!
