A:-A kind polite man who really knows his MR 2's

B:-Sources a mint under 10 K km's CT 20 Turbo stock rev 4 turbo charger at a very fair price.With documentation too.

C:-Put himself out by meeting me at his workshop at yes wait for It 6:30 am. Had to drop the car off and make a very Important meeting In London.

D:-The hybrid turbo charger was removed.The as new mint CT 20 stock unit was then fitted by the time I arrived back at the workshop at 6 PM.The same day!

E:-Discovered that a knock sensor had stopped working hence the orange dash light:-No charge!

F:-Did a complete diagnostic check:-free.Have the full report to Include torque power and every Information you can think of.Our MR 2 Is In perfect condition and James commented that the engine results made It as new as leaving the factory-well chuffed.Okay here admittedly he needed to test a REV3 + or REV 4 In our case as this Is new equipment for them.So In summary *free* knock sensor £60 + vat. Diagnostics check £40 + vat.(One hour labour)

G:-MR 2 perfectly clean as I delivered It no marks scratches chips parking or moving Incidents or ramp dramas or leaning over mechanic zip scratches from the wrong type of overall etc. Cabin mint. Incidentally as a matter of course I wash en wax the car before taking It to any shop and record a top to bottom video as proof!

H:-James sealed and wrapped Baz's new CT 20 'Hybrid' turbo charger removed from our MR 2, and Baz who bought my turbo gave praise and feedback about how the turbo was, and how James handled him at his shop on the collection. I expect this when my name Is In the equation!

I:- I bought James a bottle of Limited edition spirit the most expensive and largest size one. I was so happy and appreciative that he helped me out In this way and did a same day job whilst he was fully booked out! And the job Itself Is neat tidy and perfect too.

Another note worth mentioning Is that 3S Service Centre-toyotagt are close to myself Southampton and Is an easy drive around 70 miles and about 45 minutes.Set In the farm lands location very pretty In summer.Our MR 2 above.

Incidentally I also use Rogue Motorsport who have built our MR 2 from scratch and bottom up but are 150 miles out and about 90 minutes. So depending where you are at the time two good companies and possible locations to choose from.( *MR 2 Specialists*. )

Excellent news Harry!

Im glad the guys at 3S Service Centre / ToyotaGT have been looking after you.

James is a great guy and knows his MR2's inside and out :D and thats why he is doing the work on my car too :thumleft:

Hows the car feeling now that the new turbo has been fitted?

Smooth as silk thanks Jason. The brand new and fitted CT 20 Hybrid required a TT single port exhaust housing also had sold on the Apexi FC ECU so decided to revert back to stock.

Ran the HYBRID for a couple of hundred miles the torque was Imense-lovely unit will miss It. But when more time might build another all ready set up then get It mapped with 850 cc's. lol Keith, error. I wish, more like nearly double that time. 2.5 + hours.
