The majority of the reason I quit BF3 to come back to MW3 was because of a shotgun problem. Seems it is the same in both games.

Going to log on now and give it another go.

yeah I don't like shotgun runners

way too crude.
I prefer to lie in wait in a bush (with tac insertion) with an aa12 or striker

on a serious note I've not been on in months went back to black ops so I boot up mw3 yesterday and spend hours downloading all the new maps and updates right back to blackbox.

and guess what........... no freakin terminal!!!!!!
apparently ps3 don't get it till 23rd August!!! man I Paid for elite full subscription surely it should be available now?

Yeah i found that out last night, Terminal was my favourite map in MW2 so was gutted when it hadn't been released on PS3 yet.

Common knowledge that the Xbox gets first dibs on COD stuff as they are the "unofficial" console of Activision.

Just wondering, has anyone that bought the Elite subscription actually managed to play ALL of the new maps?

If I set up a 'private match' I can run around in Terminal, Erosion, Off Shore etc etc.
But I have never managed to play these maps in online multiplayer

I can play the earlier DLC maps (everything before May), so what gives?

Anyone else having same problem?

My advice is to buy the map packs individually as getting the Elite drops is just a confusing mess of downloads and keys, scattered across 3 different folders on PSN

Erosion? Off shore?

Can play on terminal, only map pack I dont have is DLC3.

Must be a bit like "Slaughterhouse" on MW2. I had that, but never played on MP. Maybe only in a different game mode?

Oops, not Erosion, that's a Face Off map

But yeah, Off Shore is a new one that I can't play on.

I have the "default content only" message back now when searching for online games, even though I'm sure I've downloaded everything (I must have, I can play them in private matches).

Even when I did manage to get rid of the 'default content only' last month, I still couldn't play later maps online.

The last couple of download packs were for the face off games. 1v1 2v2 3v3

They are tidgy maps bar aground (sniper map) and for small groups.

Dohh you can play them from the elite play list for normal team games. Mixture of KC TDM and domination.

Played terminal last and it brought back memories!

Got rid of the "default content only" message by finding THREE 'drops' on the PSN store that I either missed or are new.

The DLC is such a mess, 3 separate downloads instead of just one containing all of them

Yeah there was an issue with the July drops where it wasnt showing in the in game elite store... tw@s!

Happened with one of the updates. Not sure what it was but it makes it horrible to play on my fast cable connection. Almost like I'm half a second behind everyone else.

Why isn't there a NORMAL Deathmatch option!!!

I get so frustrated when a 5 member clan enters the lobby and they all get in the same team. And within the first 5 minutes they dominate the whole airspace with AC-130's, helicopters and reapers.
And eventually win with 40-3 scores!!!

Can't stand Deathmatch myself, much rather have an objective other than running around like a headless chicken bumping into campers (you know who you are

) sitting in corners like little billy-no-mates...

I hate having to do objectives while there are headless chickens running around that aren't able to provide some common sense cover.

That's why I just run and shoot at Deathmatches
