Got a Mad Catz wheel (gratis) but can't get it working with the PC as yet.

I'll probably just the Logitec when I can find one

I gave up about 9.50 when I realised my car was parked outside with 4 PCs on view to the passing pikeys - there were only a couple of chaps left at that point so maybe they gave up?

Some fun racing but not all that busy tonight.

Attendees were :-

Flying V
Alex
Interloafer
Megaboost
Brian
Speedy

If I forgot anyone its because I have the flu.
My racing wasnt up to scratch because I have the flu.
I'm feeling sorry for my self because I have the flu.

Just checked out your website Michael, thats where I got my original data to transform the XFGT into an MR2!!!
It doesnt drive well though so its in mothballs for the moment :( way to light / twitch on the front end.

Hopefully Brian and Interloafer will have sorted thier wheels by next week :)

Was some good close racing though, I went back to standard setup for much oversteering/lockup fun, and I tried CJBs setup, which seemed to bounce around everywhere :)

I'll post the replay files I have later.

BTW - Screenshots of S2 blackwood (rebuilt)

Saw that over the weekend, then thought about upgrading my graphics card so that when S2 does come out, it'll look like that... then remembered that would necessitate a new mobo, then remembered a new mobo would mean a new case....

thankfully Feb is the shortest month of the year...

I know a few places that are open until 11

Some good races tonight - lots of fun :)

I'm just waiting for the stewards enquiry (Speedy analysing the replay) to see if I'm gonna be black flagged - not guilty guvnor honest!

Everyones laptimes are getting better - yours truley breaking into the 1:37's with speedy staying one step ahead by managing a 1:36 8)

Thanks for everyone for turning up!

grrr - I'll check the replay this evening, and post some links. Some really good racing, usually involving a quicker person getting out of posistion and then racing back through the field.

The incident in question was a good race, with me chasing down CJB, before he half spun right in front of me on the start of the straight! Took me out, then the resulting melee took Vashy out as well...

Have to say that the lap times last night from everybody were really good, I did manage to improve on my best, but people were being a lot more consistent.

Here's my tip from racing last night - if you're at the front at the start, do everything you can to stay at the front, move to the inside and brake early so people have to go all the way around you, also - put the mirrors on virtual, so you can see when people are going to ram you from behind. If you are at the back at the start, hang back and get a better run onto the back straight, in the GT, you can power past GTi's anyway. It's always a better view as well from the back, especially when megaboost/larrick/cjb are pushing each other around before they have even got to the first corner - very funny to watch :)

Stay tuned!

I was impressed with your "don't set off when the lights go green move" - I thought it was a lag on the connection and expected your car to jump forwards, then I hit you :)

Lots of fun.
