Surely the location of the lights isn't really adjustable?

I mean, the lights would have to go in so they produce a correctly focussed beam and follow the lines of the bonnet.

If you moved the lights forward they'd be focussed on the floor 10ft ahead or, if you aimed them correctly, they'd be recessed at the rear.
Sure, adjusting the bulbs could sort out some of this but it's not the right way to do the job IMO.

The lights want fitting in a location where they're at the same angle of dangle as they were on a Celica. End of.

Obviously they've got to point correctly to produce the correct beam pattern  it just looked in the middle pic of the last 3 posted that they could have come forward a bit IMHO. maybe 3" was a bit much, just thought it would follow the lines a bit better at the front though im sure its been looked at to follow the lines from the side view so theres no high points of the glass.

They do look nice.. You could almost market them problem is that you would have to sell it as part of a kit.. Bonnet bumper and lights... I smeell money to be made.. Will be great to see the finished article. :D

Can I ask, what have they done with the bonnet where it meets the lights?

Is it just a single skin of tin or have they either rolled the edges or welded some thicker metal to the inside surface?

I don't like the idea that there'll just be a single skin of metal there. The edge needs to be reinforced somehow or the bonnet will go all floppy.

as i said over on MR2oc, not happy with the gap between bonnet and bumper which hopefully can be sorted some how i need to call them.

also the strip that sits in the bumper on drivers side dosent sit right almost like the bumper isnt sat correctly.

and where the bonnet curvs round the top of the passanger side it sits hig so if you look at it from side its poking up.

just annoying bits that hopefully they will sort for me.
